Abolish Abortion to the Glory of God - Dropcard

What is the chief end of man? To glorify God and enjoy him forever. Our forefathers, the framers of the Westminster Shorter Catechism, were wise men who understood that the ends for which God created the world was for his own glory. God's chief purpose in his work of creation and providence is his own name and inward glory being made known to his people. 

So too the chief and ultimate end in our fight to abolish abortion is not necessarily to save human life, though that is an end in our fight, rather, the chief end of our effort to abolish abortion is to glorify God. That is, his eternal excellencies and loveliness, his righteousness, his justice, and his kindness being made known to all peoples. 

So what is the chief end of the abolitionist movement? To glorify God and enjoy him forever.
